ASAL USUL NAMA KEM WARDIEBURN   Tanda nama Kem Wardieburn di pintu masuk (Google Maps) Kem Wardieburn adalah salah satu kem tentera yang masih wujud di dalam kawasan bandaraya Kuala Lumpur pada ketika ini. Kem tersebut terletak di Jalan Genting Klang di Setapak dan menempatkan Divisyen Keempat Infantri Tentera Darat atau lebih dikenali sebagai Markas 4 Divisyen.  Tahukah anda dari mana asal usul nama kem ini mendapat nama Kem Wardieburn? Terdapat teori yang mengatakan kem ini mendapat nama dari serangan tentera Jepun ketika Perang Dunia Kedua dimana kesan serangan itu diabadikan dengan menamakan kawasan ini sebagai “ War ” (Perang), “ Die ” (Mati) dan “ Burn ” (Terbakar). Tidak ramai yang tahu Kem Wardieburn ini asalnya adalah sebuah kawasan perladangan kopi dan getah.
